Client – YUM! Brands, the parent company of Taco Bell®, Long John Silvers®, Pizza Hut®, A&W® and Kentucky Fried Chicken®.
Project – Develop signage for WingStreet® brand, a unique chicken wings QSR concept.
Challenge – WingStreet® was to be launched in 500 Pizza Hut® locations. YUM! Brands needed a sign small enough to fit varying store blueprints, and stand out from other QSR competitors.
Schult Solution – We developed a unique double-sided light box specifically engineered for the varying store configurations. The WingStreet® brand artwork was brilliantly illuminated by the patented ARTLITE process. We engineered the sign to support a special transformer, created a custom box and face and even sourced special high-intensity bulbs.
The Result – WingStreet® is now scheduled to roll out in stand-alone restaurants nationwide as a sixth major brand for YUM! Brands. YUM! has since hired Schult to develop similar "blade" signs for Taco Bell and other YUM! Express locations. |
